2012-02-01

NEW 2012 - EYE BY ALEXANDER LERVIK

Eye can be used in many different areas and therefore you are able to fully influence the design of the furniture in the form of colour and pattern, ranging from plain fabrics or leather that fits into tight office environment to the more playful settings where you can combine plain and patterned fabric in different parts of the chair. Maybe it's just the playful variant needed for offices to put their unique stamp on the environment.

Eye fits perfectly in the breakout areas in offices, lounge areas, in coffee rooms and cafés, but also in the private environment where space may often be limited but the need for its potential is great.

JOHANSON DESIGN TEAMS UP WITH JONAS LINDVALL

2011-02-09

The conversation piece of the year from Johansson Design will be – and that’s a promise – a stackable armchair. Its name is still a secret but we can reveal a few details. It weighs 5 kg and has aluminium legs. The seat, back and armrests are made of a fi bre-glass/synthetic rubber composite and the glides are also of synthetic rubber. Environmental issues always have high priority at Johanson Design, so the chair is recyclable. It will be manufactured in a range of standard colours and special colours will be available to order.

Sport & Arena with a 60s feeling

2011-02-08

The new Sport and Arena ranges from Johanson Design will take you back 50 years. This is the era in which Johan Lindstén finds his creative zest. Otherwise, he relies mostly on art, everyday romanticism and travel for his sources of inspiration. Or something completely unexpected – like the Ocean of Storms on the near side of the Moon. Influenced by photographs of craters and mountain ranges, he designed the new range of sound absorber panels for Johanson Design. And, even more recently, he has drawn inspiration from the creative forces embodied in the aerodynamic features of 1960s design.

Go for it – and succeed

2011-02-08

When building and furnishing Tureberg Church in Sollentuna, just north of Stockholm, the guiding principles were quality, simplicity, functionality, sustainablility and beauty. The motto during the build was ‘Go for it – and succeed’. When the church was consecrated in December 2010 the building expressed simple modesty: it was naturally modern and, at the same time, completely unique.
This soft, white, irregular structure in the centre of the community attracts numerous visitors. The church is open all day and its expected ambience has been given a new dimension. The environment is both formal and ceremonial at the same time.
